Expedition Support & Stowage

Expedition Services: Built for the Extremes

Our Expedition line is where heavy-duty fabrication meets high-stakes organization. Whether we’re supporting the US Navy on the Arctic Ice Sheet or outfitting a private mission, we build gear designed to survive the harshest environments on Earth. We specialize in custom-insulated kits, covers with integrated heating elements, and padded stowage featuring polycarbonate and foam inserts for maximum durability.

Unlike standard hard cases, which can crack or shatter when dropped in extreme cold, our reinforced soft-shell bags remain resilient and impact-resistant. They are specifically engineered to be more flight-friendly and easier to pack into the tight dimensions of a small plane or helicopter. Every kit is clearly labeled to keep specific components together, ensuring that critical gear is always accounted for and nothing gets left behind. From the polar ice to your next mission, we provide the rugged, technical stowage you need to stay operational.

Starlink Mini Expedition CaseDesigned for rapid deployment and maximum protection. This custom kit holds the Starlink Mini, battery, and all accessories in one organized, padded unit. It features internal cable management, a removable gear pouch, and a custom 3D-printed mount that holds the dish at the optimum angle while in use. Built with a rugged exterior, integrated handles, and a wearable strap, it’s engineered to keep you connected while on the move without leaving critical components behind.

Field Testing: Arctic Expedition Gear A look at our specialized equipment in action: featuring our inflatable ice-hole bladder, an auger expedition kit bag, and a custom 10-inch blade cover. The bladder is engineered to prevent ice from forming around sensitive sensors and equipment in sub-zero environments. Every piece—from the padded transit bag to the protective blade cover—is built to keep critical tools operational and organized in the field.

Engineered for the Cold Soak: The Auger Blade Cover Standard covers fail when “cold soaked” in extreme environments, but this hybrid design is built for abuse. We’ve combined the time-tested durability of waterproofed leather with the cutting-edge strength of UHMWPE fabric. Hand-sewn for precision, this cover protects both the user and the bit’s edge, maintaining its material properties even when temperatures plummet. It’s a mix of old-world craftsmanship and modern technical textiles.

Ice Auger Head Cover | Hybrid Fabrication Another fusion of old and new technologies: 3D-printed using pliable polyurethane for a custom, impact-resistant fit, paired with heavy-duty polyester straps riveted directly to the housing. This hybrid approach ensures the cover stays flexible in the cold while maintaining the rugged hardware connections needed for field abuse.

Heated Expedition Bags: Zero-Failure Performance Extreme cold doesn’t just make work difficult—it makes machinery inoperable. This custom-insulated bag features a built-in adjustable strip heater designed specifically to keep motor fluids at operational temperatures. By maintaining internal heat even in sub-zero environments, we ensure your critical equipment is ready to deploy the second you need it.

Active Thermal Protection: Hydraulic Cylinder Cover In the Arctic, a frozen hydraulic cylinder can bring an entire operation to a halt. This custom cover is designed with an internal pocket for a chemical hand heater, providing a steady heat source to prevent freezing in extreme sub-zero temperatures. It’s a simple, fail-safe solution for keeping critical machinery moving when the power grid isn’t an option.

Expedition Transit Case | Modular Protection This custom-insulated transit bag is designed to keep complex equipment sets organized and field-ready. The dual-layered interior features a dedicated lower section for primary machinery and a separate zippered upper compartment for cables and accessories. By housing the entire system in one reinforced, padded unit, we ensure that every component is protected during transportation and—more importantly—that nothing is left behind on the tarmac or in the snow.

Never Leave a Tool Behind. When you’re managing dozens of equipment sets in remote environments, organization is as important as durability. Pictured here is a recent order of insulated chainsaw transport bags. By using color-coded textiles and unique tracking labels, we help expedition teams keep their inventory organized so that every kit is accounted for at the end of the day.

From Layout to Mission-Ready: Navy Vessel Tool Kit Precision organization starts with a custom blueprint. For this Navy ship toolkit, we began by mapping each tool’s footprint to ensure a perfect fit and logical workflow. By designing the roll around the actual equipment, we maximize space efficiency and ensure that every wrench and driver has a dedicated, secure home. The result is a rugged, deployment-ready tool roll that guarantees accountability in high-stakes environments.

Passive Thermal Barrier: Dead-Air Gap Engineering To maximize heat retention at -50°C, we didn’t just add layers—we engineered a structural air gap. By making the outer shell airtight and connecting it to the inner tent via precision-cut gussets, we created a consistent “dead-air” buffer. This buffer acts as a natural insulator, significantly reducing thermal transfer between the internal environment and the Arctic cold. This dual-hull construction ensures that the interior remains a stable, livable workspace even in the most unforgiving polar conditions.
